Lisa Dobber & Grant Sheppard for LLS!

Feb 04, 2018

Welcome to the Dobber and Sheppard LLS WFS Fundraising Page.

Please join us in supporting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to our Student of the Year fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, our efforts, and the undying commitment of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, we will help fund the therapies and treatments of people in need, and help save lives today.

The LLS's continued advancements over the years are responsible for a dramatic increase in the survival rate when diagnosed with blood cancer. In some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.

The LLS is also making great strides in expanding its horizons. Many therapies that the LLS helped fund are now being used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers, and clinical trials are being done to see if these treatments can help patients diagnosed with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are also being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Multiple Sclerosis.

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Together, we can change the face of blood cancer! We kindly ask you make a donation and share!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, we thank you for your support!

Thank you Grant and Lisa for spearheading this effort. I can't say enough about LLS, both as a patient support group and as a funding source for critical research. Having gone through two bone marrow transplants with Steve, the advances that were made over that 15 year period were amazing and the pace of break-throughs is accelerating. With funding to the NIH cut, efforts such as this are key to improving patient outcomes and quality of life. I make this donation today in honor of my LLS "patient hero", my husband Steve.
