Hi, I am Niranjana Nair! I am so excited and grateful to participate as a team member for the 2021 Students of the Year fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. All of the money raised through this initiative from your support and contributions will be in honor of patients currently battling or in remission from a blood cancer. Every single dollar counts and will directly go to this amazing cause. It will only be through the help of friends and family such as yourself that this change can be made. By supporting my campaign, you will have a huge impact in helping provide immediate relief to cancer patients during the most difficult time of their lives.

My mission is not only to meet my personal donation goal of a $1000, but through this experience also bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens. Many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients, but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.

It is an unfortunate truth that many of our lives have been touched in some way by cancer. But with the support of determined people like yourself, we can make a difference and improve the quality of life for those in this battle.
