Hello there!

For those who don’t know, my name is Krishna Grandhe. I’m a sophomore at Round Rock High School, and I’m so glad that you decided to view my website. Perhaps you’re wondering, why am I on this website again? I’d be glad to answer.

For the past few months, I’ve been part of an organization called the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or LLS. We are a nonprofit that has one goal - end cancer. As I said before, I’m part of this organization, and I share the same goal. From January 7th to February 26th, there will be a fundraising period where I, my team, and other select students from all around will be trying to get as many donations as we can to give to LLS and increase our progress to reach our goal. After all, cancer is something that needs to be eradicated. 

Exactly zero people out of the millions of people who have cancer deserve to suffer through it. If you know someone who has suffered or is suffering through it, you know what I’m talking about. I am lucky enough to not have gotten it, but I do know people who have been diagnosed with it. People close to me. People that passed away because of it. People that struggled because of it. People whose families and friends struggled because of it, not excluding me. 

So, I’d like to ask - do you feel the same way? Do you wish cancer was gone? Although that dream hasn’t come true, LLS is one of the leaders in making it become so. Since their existence, they’ve managed to push out new cancer treatments not at twice the normal rate, not thrice, not even ten times. They’ve managed push out new, life-saving cancer treatments at 20x the normal rate. Beyond that, they’ve helped countless cancer patients both mentally and financially, paying hospital bills for those who can’t afford it.

Now, I’ll answer the question from the very beginning - this website is to fundraise and collect donations to end cancer through the help of LLS. I’d like to thank you again for getting on this site and, at this point, reading my post, but I’d like to ask one more thing of you. I’d like to ask you to help me, my team, and LLS to end cancer. I would be eternally grateful for it, not to mention the countless people that would greatly benefit from it(it's also tax deductible!). It could be a dollar, it could be a million. But, with a donation, you would help us get that much closer to ending cancer.
