I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help to "TACKLE CANCER"!

When I was 4 years old, my mom was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. I was too young to understand what was going on. But, I have vivid memories of my mom sleeping all the time and remember being afraid of her bald head. My mom was sick for over a year as she had to undergo a bone marrow transplant. 

I am running for LLS Student Visionary of the Year to help raise funds to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and help to make the lives of patients and their caregivers much easier. I know first hand what a family endures when they receive a cancer diagnosis. I wish for a world with no cancer and I want to help get closer to that goal.
