We, Teagan Cavaliere and Mark Cronin, are determined to raise $15,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As co-candidates for “Students of the Year,” our team (Cadets Curing Cancer) is competing against other fundraising teams throughout the New Haven/Hartford region to raise the most money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). 100% of the money raised for LLS will be used to fund research and treatments for blood cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma. The money raised will also be used to help improve the quality of life for these patients and their families.  Our team, “Cadets Curing Cancer” can accept donations between January 21 and March 10. No amount is too large or too small! Your generosity will undoubtedly improve the lives of every patient and family affected by blood cancers! Thank you! 

Hello all!

In two days, on January 21, our team will begin accepting donations! Although we are under tough times, the cause that LLS funds and supports is very important to us. 

In 2018, Mark lost a great uncle to Leukemia, and Teagon also sadly lost a cousin back in 2014. Another reason this year is important to donate over any year in the past is the ongoing pandemic and how it is affecting blood cancer patients across the USA, both medically and financially. 

We are both extremely passionate about this cause, and we hope you are too, as all of our donations will directly benefit the lives of blood cancer patients.
