Do you want to make a difference in the world? Do you want to be a small part of the fight to cure cancer? Blood cancers are devastating and impact people across the country every single day. With a direct relation to the disease, I know how important it is to advocate and spread awareness for a cure, and I need your help doing so!

I was nominated as a 2022 Students of the Year candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The Students of the Year program is a 7-week fundraising campaign for the LLS, running from January 21st to March 11th of 2022. The money raised goes towards supporting blood cancer research, and my team, Team P.A.C. and I are working hard to reach our fundraising goal of $50,000. Last year, my friend, Max Semegran, was just $5,000 short of this goal. He led his campaign in honor of his brother, and I want to do the same. I hope to reach $50,000 to follow in his legacy! We cannot do it without you!

Why support LLS? This organization, in the past decade, has provided over 40% of cancer treatment and drugs to patients and raised $1.2 BILLION for cancer research. The treatments and medicines provided by LLS fundraising have not only gone towards those struggling with blood cancer, but also those affected by other serious diseases such as breast cancer, Alzheimer’s, and Multiple Sclerosis. The LLS has given cancer patients better access to resources and has funded research in the continual fight for a cure.

My team, Team P.A.C. (Pac Attacks Cancer), is extremely dedicated to supporting blood cancer research and ultimately finding a cure.
