5th Annual Blackout Blood Cancer Bingo

Today more than 1.3 million Americans are fighting a daily battle with blood cancers and every 3 minutes another person unwillingly joins the fight. Together with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society we can find a cure and create a world without blood cancer!

Come out for a fun day of bingo with the family at the Marysville Lions Club, for our 5th Annual “Blackout Blood Cancer Bingo!” The doors will open at 11:30am and the first round of bingo will begin at 1:00pm. In addition to bingo, assorted raffles and 50/50 tickets will be available for purchase, including pull-tab tickets! Blackout Blood Cancer Gift Basket Bingo tickets will be a donation of $25 per person prior to the event and $30 at the door. Concessions will also be available to purchase at the event.

If you're lucky enough to yell "Bingo!" you'll be able to pick your prize from an assortment of gift baskets all donated by local businesses for this event! This year, proceeds from the event will be divided and credited to candidates from the 2020 Class of Students of the Year! This means if you know a candidate, your attendance will help push them towards their fundraising goal benefiting LLS!

We have a HUGE goal of raising $12,000 at this event to help further fund groundbreaking research! Together, WE can help find a cure and support cancer patients in their fight! 

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
