Beating Cancer Is In Our Blood

Leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma are all haunting forms of blood cancer, and we believe that no one should have to face these diseases, regardless of who they may be. We work together as a team to try and help support the battle against blood cancer, and all of us believe that everyone can work together to end blood cancer and what harm it may bring. Every day, hundreds of people are diagnosed with blood cancer, and it results in about 175,000 to be diagnosed with some form every year. Unfortunately, this is solely within the United States, and there are thousands of people from across the globe that also suffer from blood cancer. Blood cancer causes white blood cells, which under normal circumstances aid in the prevention of many diseases, can grow at an uncontrollable pace. When there are an excessive number of white blood cells, this can end up damaging the body, and it can appear in many forms.

Leukemia will form in the blood-forming tissues.

Lymphoma will form in lymph nodes that produce white blood cells.

Myeloma will form within the bones themselves.

All three of these can cause severe damage to the body, and victims of the disease will also face other dangerous diseases that healthy people may not. Blood cancer does not just affect children, but adults just as much, if not, even more. While other cancers are often more prevalent in society, leukemia and lymphoma mostly stays within the top of most common cancer forms. However, blood cancer may be one of the easiest to cure.

Blood cancer is dealt with fluids, so this may be the easiest to work with since tumors are not as often seen. As a result, we have decided to work together to help support the battle with blood cancer. Being able to cure and prevent blood cancer can serve as an important gateway to beating other forms of cancer as well. Each of us has our own stories as to why we chose to work. Whether our own family has suffered blood cancer or some other form, the three of us want to work together to help reach out to everyone about the situation around blood cancer. Our own stories can be found in our personal pages, but please support the team as well! We want to help everyone, and that can be made possible if everyone gives to us. No one may have to suffer blood cancer or even any forms in the near future, so long as everyone works together to stop blood cancer!

Please note: All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. However, they'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need. Please visit our website often and bring friends who would also like to donate! On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!
