Welcome to Morgan McAdams' SOY Fundraising Page!

Welcome To My Team Member Fundraising Page.

My name is Morgan McAdams, and I am a senior at Southwestern High School. I am fundraising to save lives. As a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Student of the Year campaign, I will be raising awareness and funds for research and education to support blood cancer patients, some who are just like me. Every dollar counts. Please help me fight blood cancer with my team!

Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my Students of the Year fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.

Students of the Year is a philanthropic leadership development program for exemplary high school students from across Central Pennsylvania. For seven weeks, myself and my fellow teammates are tasked to utlize our professional skills such as entrepreneaurship, marketing, and project management in order to motivate our communities to invest in the mission of LLS. I am honored to be a part of this team to raise funds and awareness for the hundreds of patients in Central PA living with blood cancer.

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.

And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer! Please take a minute to watch the video below to learn how!

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Please visit my Students of the Year Team Member website often and bring friends who would also like to donate!  With your help we can make sure that our patients are living long and healthy lives.

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!

In my lifetime, I've met way too many people and families that had to contend with this awful disease. I am blessed to have this caring young person in my family. I am so proud Morgan; way to go.
