Alexander Nanda's Students of the Year Fundraiser
As we are now within the last two weeks of fundraising, donations are now crucial for us to reach our goal, and for us to make lasting and impactful change. The time is now to bring this change, and let's all stand to better the lives of those affected by cancers!!
Alexander's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, welcome!
My name is Alexander Nanda. I am 16 years old and a sophomore at Columbus Academy High School. I have the honor of running as a candidate for Student of the Year for the Central Ohio Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I am running alongside my classmate and friend, Cory Wu and Alicia Deng.
I accepted the nomination to run for Student of the Year in honor of my grandfather, who didn’t have to battle any form of cancer, but had to undergo numerous surgeries to remove life-threatening and severe infections. He is a survivor due to research funded by people like you and the expert care he received from JIS Orthopedics. Though he was not affected by any form of cancer, these events have opened my eyes to the improvements we can make in our current medical system to not only help end blood cancer, but also to improve the medical system for all.
During this campaign, from February 25th to April 16th, our team goal is to raise $25,000 which will go directly to LLS in support of their longstanding mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. We are working hard to reach this goal, but we can’t do it alone!
On behalf of cancer patients and their families everywhere, I sincerely thank you for your support! Thank you so much for your generosity and for helping us create a world without blood cancer.
