Do you want to relax and get active? Do you want to help find a cure for blood cancer? If so, please join us for Flow Yoga!! All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and will go directly to Students of the Year team, Katherine's Knockout Cancer Crew! Two amazing classes will be held at GoYoga in New Albany. 

An adult class will be held on Friday, February 8th and will feature an after class cocktail hour! 

A teen class (ages 14-18) will be held on Saturday, February 9th and will feature an after class snack!

Happy Winter!! 

To kick off my fundraising campaign, I will be auctioning off 2 fabulous tickets to Hamilton at the Ohio Theatre! The tickets are for Sunday, February 2nd at 1:00pm. The bidding will begin at $200 for each ticket, and the highest bidder will win the tickets! All proceeds will be donated to Katherine’s Knockout Cancer Crew and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

In order to enter, please fill out the google form given. Within this form, you will have the ability to place ONE bid of your choosing. You may choose from the selected bid values or create your own. The bidding will end on January 31, 2019 at 12:00am, and the winner will be announced later that day. The tickets are pre-printed and will be delivered to the winner. Payment will be arranged when the winner is determined.

Hi I’m Katherine! 

I am honored to participate in the 2019 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am participating in honor of my mom, a breast cancer survivor, and in lovely memory of my grandfather, Boppi. I am proud to be raising critical dollars in honor of a young patient hero who is currently battling or is in remission from a blood cancer. Each dollar is a vote. The candidate team that raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named Student(s) of the Year. Our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.

Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need. Our team, Katherine’s Knockout Cancer Crew, has set a BIG goal, and once we reach it, an anonymous donor will match it! So exciting!!
