Dear Friends & Family,

I have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to help the more than 1.2 million Americans who are living with a blood cancer. Each year, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Central Ohio Chapter launches its Students of the Year fundraising campaign. This year, I was asked to join Bears Against Blood Cancer, led by 2018 Student of the Year candidate, Maggie Ryan and Isabel Sweet. During this campaign from February 22, 2018 to April 13, 2018, our team goal is to raise $20,000 which will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Every 10 minutes, someone dies from a blood cancer. LLS is finding cures. They are funding advances like targeted therapies that zero in on cancer cells and kill them, leaving healthy cells intact. Now is the time to give. Support LLS in creating a world without blood cancers.
