Suvali Giridaran is an intern at the Tamil Nadu Foundation and has taught English, bharatanatyam, and sketching at a government school in India. She also is the founder of Project Mardhani, a non-profit business aiming to provide scholarships for underprivileged students in India. Within school, she competes on her school’s debate team and holds the title of a national qualifier and competitor, and state semi-finalist. During summers, Suvali acquired a paid internship at a law firm, conducting discoveries for attorneys, speaking to clients about legal paperwork, and listening to trials.

She is filled with enthusiasm about this opportunity of spreading awareness and raising funds under the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Advocacy and Policy mission, advocating for subsidizing healthcare, improving the quality of health insurance, ensuring the availability of Medicaid, and much more.
