Student Visionaries of the Year Chicago

Nate's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
It comes with great privilege to say that I have been presented with an opportunity to make a difference in the world. My team, co-founded by my friend Conor Meehan and I, is competing in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS)’s Student Visionary’s of the Year competition. LLS is a highly regarded nonprofit dedicated to:
-
Raising funds for cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
-
Providing free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
-
Mobilizing thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Community will always be the most important aspect of one's life. Whether you can find communinty in your neighborhood, at work, in school, it is somewhere you should feel comfort. Blood cancer has impacted millions of communities, making them vulnerable and scared. It is my goal to restore those communities through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's efforts. Thank you for wanting to restore communities too!
Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
