​​​​​​​Hi everyone! Welcome to Team KCB, kick cancer's butt, fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

We are running as Student Visionaries of the Year candidates. From now until March 18, we will be working to raise $30,000 for LLS. The money we raise will fund life-saving research, support programs, and advocacy work. LLS advocates on behalf of—and with—blood cancer patients and their families, to make change that will address the serious burdens of these diseases. LLS supports a policy agenda aimed at accelerating the development of new treatments for cancer and breaking down the barriers to care that patients often encounter. Not all patients and survivors have equal access to the care they need. What’s more, equal access doesn’t always translate to equal outcomes. Some communities face systemic social, economic and environmental disadvantages that can impact their care. LLS works to advance public policies that will combat systemic health disparities and improve health equity for everyone.
