Mia's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser

Oct 23, 2022

Hi I’m Mia Modugno, and I’m honored to be competing for Student Visionaries of the Year. Student Visionaries of the Year is a 7-week fundraising challenge to raise as much awareness and funds as possible for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to cure blood cancers. I’m getting involved because of the people my family has lost to cancer. Over the past couple years, we’ve all known someone that has passed because of cancer, this program is an incredible opportunity for my generation to end blood cancer and to honor those who have passed, with your donation we would come closer to this goal. Our team is working to raise $30,000 for LLS and your donation would help us reach this goal.

LLS Light the Night

Oct 23, 2022

I'm so grateful to have participated in LLS's Light the Night Chicago. I loved meeting my fellow Student Visionaries Candidates, alumnis, and advisors. This event was so beautiful and seeing the red, white and yellow lanterns being raised in the air was truly inspiring. I was moved by the stories of those who have been affected by leukemia and lymphoma, making it more important that we as a community do everything possible to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in order to help educate others, fund treatment plans, and to make an impact in the fight to cure blood cancer! Please join the fight against blood cancer by donating January 28th 2023 at 12:00pm to put a stop to blood cancer!

Mia's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser

Oct 19, 2022

Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.

I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.

This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

  • Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
  • Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
  • Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!

Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
