Hi I’m Mia Modugno, and I’m honored to be competing for Student Visionaries of the Year. Student Visionaries of the Year is a 7-week fundraising challenge to raise as much awareness and funds as possible for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to cure blood cancers. I’m getting involved because of the people my family has lost to cancer. Over the past couple years, we’ve all known someone that has passed because of cancer, this program is an incredible opportunity for my generation to end blood cancer and to honor those who have passed, with your donation we would come closer to this goal. Our team is working to raise $30,000 for LLS and your donation would help us reach this goal. ​​​​​​​

I'm so grateful to have participated in LLS's Light the Night Chicago. I loved meeting my fellow Student Visionaries Candidates, alumnis, and advisors. This event was so beautiful and seeing the red, white and yellow lanterns being raised in the air was truly inspiring. I was moved by the stories of those who have been affected by leukemia and lymphoma, making it more important that we as a community do everything possible to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in order to help educate others, fund treatment plans, and to make an impact in the fight to cure blood cancer!
