I am excited to tell you that I have joined my friend, Mary Robinson, in her mission to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year campaign! From now through March 18, local Chicagoland high school students and their teams compete to raise as much money as possible to cure blood cancers.

I joined the team because my father has worked in the blood-collecting/blood cancer research industry for the last five years and I am interested in what he does. When the opportunity arose to get a better understanding of how his work aligns with helping cancer patients and raising money to support them, I was eager to join this effort! ​​​​​​​

• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
