Hello there, Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! My name is Taha Mohammad, and I am so honored to be a candidate for this years Students of the Year campaign. Students of the year is a 7 week campaign lasting from Janruary 22nd to March 12th of 2022 made with the goal of fundraising as much money as possible for the Leukimia Lymphoma society with the goal of eradicating cancer from the world.

Cancer has had a direct effect on my family; my older sister battled with cancer at a very young age(before I was born) and I learned from my parents what kind of effect cancer had on both my sister's life and that of my parents. This gave me a personal reason to join the campaign and lead a team as I want to make sure that none of my loved ones or anyone else's loved ones suffer through having cancer.

Due to the less than stellar circumstances the world is currently in, it's not hard to feel powerless or hopeless. That feeling that you're stuck and unable to do anything is a palpable one. I felt a bit of a similar feeling during the pandemic; however I realized that I was able to help somebody by joining this campaign. By donating to my page you are helping to get rid of cancer and when cancer loses, we all win. Not only are your donations helping to fund treatments and therapies to help save cancer patients, your donations also help fund research to eventually get rid of cancer and a future without cancer is one I think we all wish for.
