I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)! My team and I are working to raise $60,000 over the next 7 weeks. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year. Will you help me earn that title?

Although I do not have a personal connection with blood cancer, I have lost a close friend after a long batter with breast cancer. I love helping others and LLS is a great platform for doing that. Money raised for LLS is funding research for innovative blood cancer treatments that are helping people with other cancers like brain, breast, and lung cancer. 

I'm also raising money in honor of Lukas, the 2022 Students of the Year honored hero. Lukas is 4 years old and has been fighting leukemia for almost 3 years now. He should be finished with treatment in June right around his 5th birthday. Raising money for someone, like Lukas, is a great experience.

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
 
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
