My name is Gillian and I am a candidate for Student of the Year (SoY), a seven week fundraising competition to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS)! I decided to be apart of Student of the Year to show my appreciation for LLS and the treatment research they fund. Without LLS, my dad wouldn't have been as lucky with his leukemia treatments, so this is my way of thanking LLS for what they have done for my family! Please help me reach my goal of $100,000!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that saved my dad and other blood cancer patients lives. Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day. Your tax-deductible donation will support research, patient services, advocacy, education and community services!
