In honor of World Cancer Day, I read the story Cancer Hates Kisses by Jessica Reid Sliwerski. I think this book makes cancer a little less scary for kids.
Team Answer to Cancer Blood Drive

Thank you to everyone who registered to donate blood at WynBurg Cafe on January 31st. 36 pints of blood were collected allowing us to potentially help 108 people! Special thanks goes to WynBurg Cafe for hosting us when restaurants were just able to open their doors to indoor dining! We also appreciate the help of Versiti coordinating the event and Stefanie O'Donnell Photography for raising money for Made By Mary so that we could buy the essential workers lunch. Keep donating blood! People's lives depend on it.
Kendra Scott Deer Park Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who made online purchases through Kendra Scott on January 30th and 31st! Kendra Scott will be donating $360 to my Leukemia and Lymphoma campaign. A BIG thank you to the staff at Deer Park Kendra Scott that went above and beyond to make sure the sale was a success.
