Approximately every 3 minutes one person in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer. In addition, approximately every 9 minutes, someone in the US dies from a blood cancer. This has to change! This is why I am working with LLS to help find a cure, so that no family member has to hear the words of blood cancer again.

My name is Armaan Sahni, and I am honored to share that I am a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Students of the Year campaign. I am writing today to ask you to support my efforts to help LLS and their mission to ensure access to treatments and ultimately cure blood cancers.

I joined Students of the Year because (1) I wanted to develop leadership and persuasive communication skills, (2) to positively impact families and people of all ages fighting the battle of blood cancer, and (3) to influence my family and friends to bring change to their community and world in any way possible.

By donating to LLS, you support the many facets of LLS’s mission work from investing in groundbreaking research, providing education and support to patients, and advocating at the state and federal level for legislation to help those living with cancer. My appreciation for your support cannot be overstated — each and every dollar donated to LLS brings us closer to our goal to end blood cancer and makes an impact for cancer patients and their families. I have until March 13, 2021 to reach my goal of raising $30,000.
