Find A Cure
Find a Cure is a student-run service board made up of North Shore area high school students. Our goal is to help fight cancer through our support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). LLS’ mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
"Cancer doesn’t stop because of COVID-19, and cancer patients can’t wait for our help!”
These are the words of LLS president and CEO Louis DeGennaro, and we, the students of Find a Cure, are on a mission to help blood cancer patients, who are among the most immune-compromised members of our global community, with the economic plight many now face as a result of this pandemic.
LLS recently announced a goal of raising $10 million dollars to help those patients who might experience increased financial hardship with non-medical expenses such as food, household needs, housing, or transportation, due to the impacts of COVID-19.

WHAT WE DO
We strive to raise cancer awareness through service projects, fun events and fundraising opportunities. Last year our events included a fall car wash, the Light The Night walk in Glenview, Pennies for Patients, Dine to Donate nights and Skate to Donate at Watts Ice Arena.
Please join us in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to our fundraising campaign. Your support will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
Please visit our web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!
