Dear family and friends

My sister, Gabriela  and I, Sofia have been given the opportunity to help others. Each year, the leukemia lymphoma Society (LLS) launches its student of the year fundraising campaign and my sister and I were honored to join this year‘s effort as a team. Our team   ”The Mora sisters” are asking for your support of the LLS’s mission and its efforts to find a cure for blood cancers and to assist patients and families as they battle this disease.

From January 23, 2020 - March 13, 2020 our team goal is to raise $30,000 which will go directly to the LLS in support of its long lasting goal : world without blood cancer. If we raise over $50,000 we can link our team name to an LLS fund research portfolio to honor our efforts to help people with this disease.

Gabriella and I joined this fight against blood cancer because we wanted to see the impact that we could make on our community and in our world.Both my sister and I have witnessed close friends get this disease but it does not tear them down it gives them hope and perseverance to live a better life and this disease will not bring them down.

There are many reasons to be proud to support LLS efforts, for instance LLS helped advance 44 of the 50 blood cancer treatment options approved by the US Food and Drug administration since 2017 to this day. This organization has been making an impact with the money it has acquired, and we are proud to be associated with LLS.
