Linette's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Â
Dear Friends & Family,Â
Â
I’m very excited to share with you that I am participating in the 2025 Student Visionaries of the Year campaign! Over the next 7 weeks, I will be working to raise money and awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and its mission to cure blood cancers.Â
Â
It’s an honor to be a part of such an outstanding group of fellow students, but an even larger honor to be able to work for the patients, survivors and their families. I am fundraising in honor of my sister, Lily Sagharian. My sister was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 12, while I was only 10 years old. My parents came home one day telling me about her diagnosis, shocked not knowing how to feel; but I knew I felt fear. Throughout her 4 months of treatment, we would go back and forth from the hospital…..
Â
My personal goal is to raise $50,000 between March 6th through April 26th. I cannot do it alone, I need your help! There are a few ways you can support my fundraising efforts:Â
Â
- Donate via my personal fundraising page: https://fundraise.lls.org/home
- Share my message & fundraising link with your contacts via email or social media
- Donate a Charity Buzz Experience (meet and greets with celebrities/C-suite level executives, studio tours, set visits, vacation getaways)!
- Help me secure a corporate sponsorship or Program Book Ad donation
Â
Not only is this campaign a great way to support LLS and their life-saving work, but it’s a great leadership opportunity for me. I am so excited to be able to make a difference in my community in this way.Â
Â
Thank you for your generosity and support. Your donation truly makes a difference and with your help, we’re one step closer to a cure for blood cancers. I can’t wait to share the exciting updates of the next seven weeks with you. Stay tuned to see what my team and I are able to accomplish!Â
Â
Sincerely,
Linette Sagharian

P.S. Does your company have a matching gifts program that might be willing to match your donation?
