Brooke & Taylor's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
On June 13, 2023, our grandfather, Fred Rowen, passed away due to leukemia. He had been fighting multiple forms of cancer for a few years, but the blood disease ultimately took his life. In memory of my grandfather, my cousins and I have joined the Student Visionaries of the Year program to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on a vision of a better world - one without blood cancers.
We have a vision for a world without cancer, but we need your help. Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
Thank you,
Brooke & Taylor Rowen

Dear Brooke and Taylor, We are honored to make a donation in memory of your Opa Fred. Your mom and dad, your Grandma Cheryl and your Opa Fred's spirit must all be so proud of you for raising money to fund leukemia research in support of finding a cure. Leukemia took your Opa too soon. Your Opa was a very kind and caring person and we miss him. Keep up the good work as Student Visionaries putting your time and energy to great causes such as this. May your Opa's memory be a blessing. With lots of love, The Stoller/ Huang family Mikiko, Marshall, Ezzie, Cyrus and Anna
