My close family friend passed away from sarcoma and I can still see the heartbreak affecting my family. Her son grew up without a mother and has struggles that are amplified because of her death. I never want to see so many people dear to my heart go through the suffering of cancer and the loss of a loved one.

I will be a part of the change in ending cancer ensuring nobody will endure the heartache and pain of losing someone to cancer again. My campaign will provide support to the critical role of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love. I am sure that with your help, I can reach my goal and directly impact the fightt against blood cancers.

This year, I’m honored to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

As the largest non-profit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
