Emma's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Hello Friends and Family,
Thank you so much for your interest in donating to my campaign, Hope in Motion. I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to educate myself on blood cancers through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Student Visionaries of the Year Program. Throughout my time working with LLS, I have learned that these patients need our help more than ever for support, and to advocate for them when they can't speak up for themselves.
LLS has made so much progress in the field of blood cancer treatments with 85% of all FDA approved blood cancer treatments resulting from research backed by LLS. LLS advocates in Washington for laws and policies that accelerate the development of new treatments for cancer and break down the barriers to care that patients often encounter, including advancing oral parity laws, ending surprise medical bills, and limiting patients’ out-of-pocket drug costs. Additionally, through their Dare to Dream project, LLS is transforming treatment and care for kids with blood cancer, which makes up 40% of all pediatric cancer. LLS is daring to change the paradigm of treatment and care of pediatric blood cancers because kids are different and their blood cancers need to be treated differently as well.
Along with my team, Hope In Motion, my campaign will help LLS with its mission of ending the horrors of blood cancer for all. I have an ambitious goal to raise $60,000 to support blood cancer patients and their families. With your help, I know we can achieve this goal and beyond for the good of blood cancer patients all over the nation.
We want to start our campaign strong with as many donations as possible, big or small. I am happy to chat on the phone or via Zoom/email to answer your questions to explain Student Visionaries of the Year, and how you can help support blood cancer patients. Thank you so much for your support!
All donations are tax-deductible!
Sincerely,
Emma Haronian

Thank you for raising money and awareness for such an important cause Emma. I lost one of my dearest college friends to Lymphoma many years ago, and am happy to donate in his memory. He was one of the kindest and funniest guys I have ever known.

My cousin, Rory, died of Hoskins Lymphoma when he was 18 years old. My best friend, Judy Winters, died of Hoskins Lymphoma when we were 40 years old. Blood cancers kill too many people. I wish I could donate more, but I know that any amount helps. I bless these young people and the LLS for what they do for blood cancer patients and survivors.

My dad died of leukemia in 1962 when I was 4. He was basically told to get his affairs on order as there really were no treatments available back then. Wish I had more to give but I’m retired & supporting my sister so no extra money.

It’s unimaginable the effects leukemia and the treatment itself has for a child but those that can’t get the proper aftercare and continue to suffer is just wrong … Your message and fighting for this cause is beyond admirable! The world needs more outgoing, caring people like you!!

My grandson Westyn, age 7, has been fighting an extremely rare form of cancer, caused by a gene mutation, since he was 2 1/2. He has been through three surgeries and just finished his third round of chemotherapy. It is shameful that so little funding goes towards research on children's cancers and development of drugs for treating them!
Jackie Matthews
It’s the young people who are our future. I’m proud to help these two young adults raise money for this important cause.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this fundraiser. My dearly departed grandfather meant the world to me, blood cancer took him in the end, but thankfully, he lived a long and fulfilling life. I'm sure he'd be pleased to know that there are people like you who care enough to see that others have that chance too.
