My name is Jovie Lee and I’ve been nominated for Student Visionaries of the Year campaign for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society (also known as LLS). My team name is Buckets Against Cancer and we’ll be raising as much money as we can within the span of 7 weeks (February 21st - April 14th). This money that we fundraise improves the lives of patient’s and their families. We hope to one day cure cancer!

I’m writing this to ask for your support in my campaign. I have created a team with fellow friends and family of mine called Buckets Against Cancer, following my brother’s, Trevor’s, legacy and have set a fundraising goal of $50,000.

My reason for running for student visionaries of the year is because I’ve experienced losing a loved one to cancer. My grandpa had cancer for a few years and had to go through multiple doses of treatment, but unfortunately passed away. I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to go through losing a loved one, so by joining LLS and fundraising I’ll do my best, with the help of my team, to be able to help patients and their families with their fight against cancer. With your help I believe that we can get even closer to that goal!
