You can also help me raise funds by inviting your friends, family, and everyone in your networks to join us by making a donation. Aside from donations, we would love to hear from you or someone you know who would be willing to donate goods or services for auction items, and sponsorships, for our Virtual Grand Finale on Saturday, March 6th, or other possible fundraising opportunities. Please note: your donations are tax-deductible. Large or small, your contribution to this worthy effort will be greatly appreciated.

Why am I participating this year?

Jan 27, 2022
As my second year participating in SOY, I want to continue making a change for the better. Last year, I had the opportunity to work with a team in order to achieve our funding goals for the good cause of cancer research. However, this year, I have the privilege of being a candidate and helping others along the way of their campaigning journey. Because I know how impactful SOY can be on the lives of many experiencing adversities due to illnesses like cancer, I want to contribute once again to a cause that has the potential to one day, find the cure for leukemia and all other cancers. In last year’s campaign, I learned that one person can make a true difference in the grand scheme of things. It is because of this, that I have joined SOY this year. I know that by joining, I could be saving many lives and helping to ameliorate the growing concern cancer patients and their families face. My mission this year is to recruit or simply engage people into The Leukemia Lymphoma Society so that more people are informed about how they too can help. To successfully find a cure, we will all have to be a part of the solution. Therefore, involving yourself and others in organizations like LLS will mitigate this issue. You and I can and will be trailblazers.

Dear Supporters & Friends,

Jan 27, 2022
I am very excited to announce that I have been nominated as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Students of the Year campaign. Sunday, January 27th is the official kick-off for my 7-week journey to help find a cure for cancer. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is truly changing the face of cancer and research. The survival rate of researched blood cancers has more than doubled. My 7-week campaign will give LLS the opportunity to continue fighting this disease. I cannot do this alone, I need your help. The Trailblazers, my fundraising team, and I have great hope for this cause. Together, with your help and support, we are looking forward to raising funds for this great organization. Until a cure, Brianna Mozo

Welcome To My Fundraising Page.

I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year. Will you help me earn that title?

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.

Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.

We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!

All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support! For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org
