Hello,

I am super excited to let you know that I am running as a candidate for Student Of the Year with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! This is a seven-week campaign where each candidate aims to raise money to help fight cancer. The campaign runs from January 16th to March 6th. During this period we will need all the help we can get to achieve our fundraising goa!. At the end of the campaign, the student that helped raise more funds will get the title of Student Of The Year. My team and I, the “Avenging Pandas”, are hoping to raise $50,000! 

Yes, it’s a big, scary goal, but with your help we are going to be able to make it! 

In 2017, my grandpa was diagnosed with cancer and after 6 long months, he sadly lost his fight and passed away in 2018. Also my good friends, Tim and Eva, were also diagnosed with Leukemia, but with the research and help of LLS, Eva is now cured and Tim is still fighting against leukemia. By running in the Student of the Year campaign I want to be able to help people like them so that nobody else loses a fight against cancer.

LLS is an amazing organization that has invested over $1.2 billion on cancer research. The majority of the most promising treatments against cancer were funded by the organization. They also provided free information, support services and financial assistance to over 30,000 people last year. 

It’s the first time I do something like this and it’s a challenge...I’m super nervous but also excited! Please help my team and I reach our goal!!
