I am absolutely honored to be selected as a Students of the Year participant by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) to help fight to cure cancer. My team Get Aboard! and I are incredibly excited for this journey. Achieving our campaign goal of raising $50,000 would mean that we have done everything in our power to aid blood cancer patients. I’m asking for your help and support to make a difference. 

Through generous donations, both big and small, LLS has revolutionized the cancer world: funding 55 of the 65 FDA-approved cancer treatments, supporting over 80 research grants, and investing a total of 1.3 billion dollars in cancer research. LLS’s impact on society is truly remarkable, especially with its ability to facilitate life-saving miracles like the one that allowed my dear friend Cecilia Bellissimo to continue to make her mark on the world. Cecilia, who was diagnosed with a rare soft tissue cancer at just eight years young is here today, brightening the worlds of everyone she encounters due to chemotherapy and experimental drugs. Without LLS, many patients would not have the opportunity to receive such miraculous medical treatments. This is why I am driven to do everything I can to ensure LLS can continue to give more beautiful souls a fighting chance.
