Dear Friends and Family,

Please be my “Cancer Warrior”. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has selected me for their 2022 Students of the Year Campaign. Please share my message on social media, and share my message with your family and friends. Any support would mean a lot to me. My heroes and inspiration are Timothy Philips 10, who was just diagnosed with Leukemia, and Kal Gonzalez 7 who is on the way to remission. Timothy is the grandson of my close friend Mary Parisi, and Kal is the grandson of my dad’s good friend, Kathy Avritt, on Station 19 craft service. The LLS Society funds blood cancer research and has been working towards a cure for 72 years. With your help procuring donations, we will work together to fund the fight against cancer’s horrible effects. Being nominated for the students of the year campaign is a great honor, and an amazing opportunity for me to campaign for a cause that I strongly believe in. My team, the “Cancer Warriors”, will work towards a fundraising goal of $102,000.
