I am participating in the student visionaries of the year program because this campaign allows me to reach the lives of patients and do as much as I can to improve their lifestyles and make a meaningful impact on their lives. The people in my life who have dealt with and recovered from cancer act as the biggest inspirations to me which drives me to make a difference as a young adult in my community. LLS's relentless, agile, and determination to effect meaningful change in the fight against blood cancers has allowed me to raise my voice. LLS has empowered a network of more than 35,000 volunteers nationwide to advocate for state and federal policies improving the lives of patients and survivors. I am glad and appreciative to be on of the many volunteers to advocate for patients.
