Hello there!

     My name is Mahima Sanghera, and I'm elated to participate in this year's Leukemia & Lymphoma's Student Visionaries Campaign! Over the course of seven weeks, my partner Santiago Paul and I hope to contrubite as much as we can to fund research for cures to cancer, and we can't do it without you!

Why:

     My main motivation to join this organization was my parents. Both of my parents immigrated to the United States in the late 1990's, and have since become prominent doctors in the medical community of Arizona. They have continuously proven to me how nothing is impossible with the right team. Thus, I hope to both match their contributions to medical knowledge as best as I can in honor of them, as well as to provide comfort to those I can reach early on.

Goal:

     We hope to raise $20,000 to provide direct patient support, enhance current research, and advocate for inclusive policies for those suffering from chronic illnesses. Santiago and I have carefully looked through our contacts, and we realize such an ambitious goal is not possible alone, which is where all of our lovely outside supporters like you come into play! We are both deeply grateful for any and all help we receive. At the end of the day, anything is more than nothing, and that's how progress is made to strive for lives. We sincerely appreciate any donation -- there is no "small donation" in the fight to end cancer -- so we thank you very much for your consideration!
