I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those affected by blood cancers and being a candidate for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society provides me with a powerful avenue to contribute to this cause. Having witnessed the challenges and hardships faced by individuals battling leukemia and lymphoma, as well as their families, I am driven by a strong desire to support research, provide resources, and ultimately contribute to finding a cure for these diseases. I believe that by coming together as a community, we can make a significant impact in the fight against leukemia and lymphoma. By contributing my time, effort, and fundraising skills to this cause, I am hopeful that we can make a difference in the lives of those currently battling these diseases and create a future where blood cancers are no longer a threat.

My team has set an ambitious goal and hopes to raise around $300,000 for this cause between January 11th and March 2nd, 2024. We are determined to make a difference in the lives that blood cancer has touched throughout Arizona and the world.

This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
