Dylan's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Hi, my name is Dylan Yeung. I am campaigning for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society because I want to be a contributor to something that can save/improve the lives of those diagnosed with blood cancer. My biggest inspiration for joining this movement was my sister, Lauren Yeung, who also raised money for LLS and won the Student of the Year campaign in 2020. I want to create a helping community in support of LLS to raise awareness for blood cancer patients and help fund research to find better treatment. Furthermore, with more compassion and kindness in the world, together as a community we can make a difference to many of those diagnosed with blood cancer. I’ve seen how cancer has affected people’s lives around me. I’ve been blessed with cancer not having directly impacted my life, but seeing how it hurts others makes me want to do something about it. That is why I decided to campaign and raise money for LLS, to facilitate the improvement of blood cancer treatment and be a part of something bigger than myself. My campaign's goal is to raise $150,000, and the window to donate opens on January 11th and ends on March 2nd, 5:00 pm.
Dylan's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!

Olivia was a student of mine when I taught elementary art years ago- she bravely battled Leukemia but sadly passed away in middle school. I didn’t know her long or well but she was kind, creative and wise beyond her years. I have never forgotten about her or the precious ceramic angel fairy she made just before she left this world. I wish we had a cure for all the other Olivia’s! Thanks for being a champion for this important work Dylan.
