Everyone has their own story but we all share the losses caused by a common enemy, cancer. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is a global leader in the fight against cancer and I want to join the team to help patients and their families. I want to take steps to change the landscape of, and eventually end, cancer. Helping to make a difference will certainly make a difference in my life.

When Vivian asked me to be a candidate for the Student Visionaries of the Year program, I immediately knew it was something that I would love to do. My grandfather is currently battling Lymphoma, and I believe that if we come together to raise enough money, all blood cancers can be cured. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has invested in so many lives through its extensive research and care for cancer patients, and I am honored to take part in its mission to find a cure. My team has a goal of raising $300,000 and truly anything helps.
