One of my favourite Netflix shows even to this day is Alexa and Katie. I love how much no matter what obstacles they encounter, Alexa and Katie tackle them head-on as a team. Despite Alexa being diagnosed with Leukemia, she never let that get the best of her, eventually overcoming it. And Katie was by her side throughout the whole process. 

Although I have no personal connections to anyone who battled blood cancers, I saw the toll it took on Alexa and her family and friends. I never want anyone to have to suffer through that alone or without the prospect of proper treatment. 

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers where those battling it know there's people supporting them the whole way through their journey.
