The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.

Friends, Family, and those I may not know yet, my name Macy Bonnett, and I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help. 

Our team, Dreams Beyond Cancer, has a total fundraising goal of $75,000, and all donations received will support LLS’s overall mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, all while improving the quality of life of patients and their families.

This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

Mission Statement: LLS works tirelessly to provide hope, guidance, education, and support when it’s needed most, so no one has to face cancer alone. The organization is the leading source of free information, education, and support for blood cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals.

Student Visionaries of the Year is a seven-week leadership development program that runs from January 11th to March 2nd, with the goal of raising funds to help blood cancer patients not only survive, but also flourish following treatment. The purpose of this site is to aid and explain our campaign and LLS's objective to find a cure for blood cancers while also improving the patient's life quality.

Personally, I have taken up this cause in support of all of my numerous friends and family who have lost loved ones to cancer. It is the hardest thing watching someone you love suffer, whether it be family, friends, or peers of any kind. By joining this team, I feel like I am truly making an impact in numerous lives and it is my way of giving support to my friends and family who have suffered a loss. Our campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to grow up without having lost the ones they love to cancer. With your consideration and participation in this campaign, we can reach our goal and make a direct impact in the fight against blood cancers.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
