My name is Lucy Benjamin and I am a junior Xavier College Preparatory. This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission. I joined this team because I am always looking for ways to get involved in my community and to take meaningful steps towards the ending of heartbreaking diseases such as Leukemia and Lymphoma. With a close family friend of mine being diagnosed with Leukemia a couple years back, I have seen first hand the impact this disease can have on families and loved ones. With an ambitious personal fundrasing goal of $5,000, I know that with your support this will be possible. Thank you, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
