Participating in a fundraiser for cancer holds personal significance as I've witnessed the impact of these diseases on loved ones. Supporting this cause means contributing to crucial research, treatment advancements, and support services for patients and families facing these battles. I want my generation to be the last to witness the ones they love suffer from cancer. 

I've witnessed my cherished grandma bravely battle cancer twice, enduring its hardships with unwavering strength, and sadly, losing to its relentless grip. Her fights were not just individual battles; they resonated through our family, evoking emotions of sorrow and resilience, and binding us together in a shared journey of support and hope. By joining this fundraiser, I wish to honor her courage, memory, and the resilience of countless others facing similar struggles. I believe that through collective efforts, we can empower research, support, and advocacy, striving to one-day spare families the pain and heartache caused by cancer's devastating toll. Moreover, the impact of cancer hits close to home as my aunt, too, faced this formidable adversary but emerged victorious as a survivor. Her journey exemplifies the strength that individuals and families muster in the face of this adversity. It reinforces my commitment to this cause and serves as a reminder that with continued support, we can make strides in conquering this enemy.
