Hello!

I had the privilege of being asked to be a team member for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2024 Greater Phoenix Student Visionaries of the Year campaign. Student Visionaries of the Year is a seven-week leadership development program that runs from January 11th to March 2nd to raise money to help blood cancer patients not only survive but thrive after treatment.
 

Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients.
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

I'm really excited to be a part of the Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) this year. It's a great opportunity to help raise funds for LLS's mission and I'm proud to be a part of it. As a person interested in a future healthcare field, I am dedicated to learning more and committing my time and resources to helping people in less fortunate situations. I have personally been touched by knowing a child that passed from having cancer. I feel driven to help other children feel supported while undergoing treatment. Our campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love. I know that with your help, we can reach our goal and make a direct impact in the fight against blood cancers.  

All donations received will support LLS’s overall mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
