More specifically, beating cancer is in my blood. Unfortunately, when I was 4 years old, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Burkitt's Lymphoma, a rare and very aggressive form of cancer. After ten months and eleven rounds of chemotherapy, I was declared cancer-free. While I was lucky, there are many who are not. Approximately every 9 minutes, someone in the US dies from a blood cancer. I fight for LLS because I never want anyone to have to experience cancer again.
