Today marks my 17th revolution around the sun and I can officially say that I have this whole life thing figure out. Just kidding just kidding!! But I have had many eye opening experiences in just this past year alone, specifically this campaign. The world of fundraising is a whirlwind and I have been extremely fortunate to have unconditional love and support from everyone who has helped me along this journey. Cheers to another year of learning and growth🍾

Crabs, Ballers, and That’s What She Set also battled through the bracket!! A special shoutout to “All About That Ace” for driving all the way out from San Tan Valley and taking second overall!! Lily and her dad even came out to watch some play!!! ‘Twas a fun Sunday afternoon :)

Student of the Year focuses on research, access, and advocacy. Your contributions help support the necessary resources for people directly affected by cancer.

A contribution of $5,000 will help support a one-day, free regional blood cancer education conference for patients, survivors, caregivers, family members, and healthcare professionals.

A contribution of $2,000 helps fund one week of blood cancer research and patient education with healthcare professional programs.

A contribution of $1,000 helps support the training of research fellow for one week and one day of nurses providing patients and caregivers with clinical trial search navigation and support.

A contribution of $300 helps fund one week of an online support group on www.LLS.org for patients and caregivers coping with a blood cancer diagnosis.

A contribution of $200 will help fund general lab supplies for one week, allowingresaerchers funded by LLS to conduct critical blood cancer research.

A contribution of $200 helps support an hour of an Information Specialist’s time providing information and support to patients & their families.

A contribution of $100 helps fund the training of volunteers who provide peer support to patients & their families around the country.

A contribution of $50 helps fund educational booklets for healthcare providers and their patients.

A contribution of $25 helps fund an episode of The Bloodline with LLS, a free podcast series that provides information to patients and caregivers

With the Student of the Year campaign, I have the privilege of fundraising for our honored hero, Lily Gray. I got the chance to hang out with her tonight, and let me tell you: not only is she a fun-loving five year old, but she's also the bravest little girl that I've met. At just two years old, Lily was diagnosed with leukemia and after over two years of resilience, she's officially cancer free. Lily is the embodiment of true strength and bliss. When I grow up, I want to be as amazing as Lily Gray.
