Our son and brother, Holland C. Gregg, IV lived a full, happy, healthy, high-energy life until his diagnosis at 23 years young. Despite staying positive and loving during his more and more brutal treatments, he lost a three-year battle against Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2005 at age 26. In his memory we strive to improve cancer treatment by advancing research. Please join us in our efforts to find pathways toward a cure.
As you probably can imagine, the LLS has felt the effects of dwindling support from the government and corporate donors. Your donation will go into the Holland C. Gregg IV Research Fund, which has been established by the LLS.
These funds go directly to The Baylor College of Medicine for a new healthier, more effective immunotherapy to kill cancer tumors.
Please join us in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to our family’s fundraising campaign. Your support will help fund the development of less punishing therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs like Gleevec, Sprycel, Arinza, Tasigna and Zolinza are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible.
Please visit our Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere we thank you for your support!
