The fight against cancer goes on. There is no one I know who can say they DO NOT have a friend or relative who has battled this terrible illness. LLS has invested more than $1.2 Billion in cancer research in our 70-year history and the investment is paying off. Last year alone, there were 18 new treatments approved by the FDA for blood cancer patients; LLS supported 15 of them.

We encourage all Run The Night participants to help “Bring Light to the Darkness of Cancer” by wearing as much flashing, blinking, and glowing items as possible to show their support for patients and families in our community who are fighting blood cancer.
Pre-Run festivities at Light The Night will include:
- Complimentary snacks and water
- Corn Hole
- Live Music
- Charles Esten, who is our National Light The Night Spokesperson, emcee’s our Lighting of the Lantern Ceremony in honor of his daughter, Addie, who is a Leukemia survivor.
- After the run, we will have a fantastic Fireworks display to end the night.
RUN INFORMATION:
Date: Friday Night, November 2, Nissan Stadium Lot R
Time: Check-in and activities begin at 5:30 p.m.-- Run begins at 7:15 p.m.
You will be receiving additional information regarding Run The Night, Race Packet Pickup Location and dates, etc. early in the month of October. Be on the lookout for an email from Light The Night and LTN:NextGen Nashville. While it is not a requirement for Run Participants, we encourage you to join us in raising funds to help find a cure for blood cancers. After purchasing your Run Ticket here, please join us by registering yourself and/or a team today at www.lightthenight.org/tn. You will receive a fundraising link where you can raise additional money to support Light The Night.
