The Bike Across America 2016 Team is a group of Team in Training Alumni and friends from Northern Ohio that have collectively participated in well over 100 Team in Training Events raising in excess of $1.1 million for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).  Our team members have been participating in centuries, marathons and triathlons benefiting LLS since 1999.  In September of 2016 the 10 of us and our support team will ride across America from the Pacific Ocean in San Diego, CA to the Atlantic Ocean in St. Augustine, FL. We hope to finish the riding in just 10 days!

This ride is of course our longest and most challenging ever but our real goal is the same as it has always been and it is to beat cancer and we need your help.  Our team includes a blood cancer survivor and each one of us has a personal connection with a friend or family member who is still fighting or has lost a battle with a blood cancer. 

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
