Thank you to everyone who joined us at the 2017 Night on the Town to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)! Hundreds of volunteers and donors came out to support the fight against blood cancers, and raised an incredible $150,000!
THE LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY
Today, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.
We have one goal: A world without blood cancers. Someday, not today. Thanks to research, survival rates for patients with many blood cancers have doubled, tripled and even quadrupled since the early 1960s. Despite these advances, about one third of patients with a blood cancer still do not survive even five years after their diagnosis, which is why more funding is needed to bring better therapies to patients, and faster.
