Cancer Ninjas is a team of fundraising friends all devoted to helping the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Arkansas raise money through this year’s Man & Woman of the Year campaign. The team is raising money in honor of family and friends touched by leukemia and lymphoma, including Man of the Year candidate, Mike Mueller, whose son is a Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor. Tennis was therapeutic in his recovery from lymphoma.
Cancer Ninja Tennis Day will be Sunday, March 26th from 3:00 to 5:30pm at Rebsamen Tennis Center. Our goal is to celebrate the sport of tennis and enjoy a fun afternoon of drills, games, and matches for kids and adults of all ages and experience levels. Non-tennis activities will be incorporated including face painting for younger participants. Food and drink will be provided. Bring a tennis racket. Prizes will be raffled off but you must be present to win.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS has invested $575,462 over three years in research in Arkansas. In fiscal year 2015, the Arkansas Division contributed $476,719 in financial aid to patients.
Ticket Price: $20 each - $50 family
